Rugved already knew how to play the guitar when he got in touch with me. The only piece of information he needed was playing on tempo. I quickly introduced him to the Metronome and explained how important it is to train with the metronome. Rugved took a week at most to understand the metronome and played his cover flawlessly at the right tempo. The next problem Rugved faced was vocal pitching, so without any delay, I introduced him to the basic vocal exercises and asked him to train. Rugved's natural vocal range is very low, you can hear the strong low notes in his voice, so he finds it hard to hit the high notes. But that doesn't mean you can't extend your vocal range. Everyone can improve a lot with enough training. Now vocal skills are a little hard to improve in a short span so it took Rugved a few months to hone his skills as well. But he has definitely improved a lot with his pitching and has given a fantastic performance with his cover.
Rugved came to only 5-6 sessions and has been learning on his own ever since. I always encourage self-study. The Internet and especially YouTube are filled with valuable tutorials and videos to learn anything and everything. All you need to do, is train hard, train 1 hour every day with discipline and every 100 hours you will keep hitting a checkpoint that leads you to your goal.
